About Rachel

I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BA in Sociology, concentrating on Criminal Justice/Criminology, and a BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. My passion lies in avian conservation and habitat management. Hands-on application of wildlife management techniques is my primary interest; however, I believe behavioral research and understanding is critical for a holistic approach to conservation and management. I also have an interest in working with the public, spreading a passion for birds (and the natural world in general) and educating people on simple management steps they can apply in their own back yards or communities.
