About Mary

I am a Ph.D. candidate, and I am broadly interested in how animals respond to challenging environments as well as how populations differ in these responses. In my research, I explore behavioral and physiological mechanisms of thermal tolerance among tree swallows across climate gradients. I previously earned my B.S. at Canisius College, where my undergrad research focused on social behavior and individual differences in captive beluga whales.
